Sri Lanka is set to host India A and Afghanistan A for a Tri-Nation Series scheduled to take place in June 2026.
The tournament will feature a series of 50-over matches, all of which are expected to be played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
Following the completion of the limited-overs tournament, the India ‘A’ team will remain in Sri Lanka for a two-match four-day series against Sri Lanka A.
The longer-format matches are scheduled to be played at the Galle International Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already announced the India ‘A’ squad for the upcoming Tri-Nation Series.
The squad will be led by Tilak Varma and also includes promising young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
The upcoming series is expected to provide valuable preparation and development opportunities for emerging players from all three nations ahead of future international assignments.
