India Retain Top Spot in ODI Rankings as Sri Lanka Stay Sixth

India have retained the No.1 position in the latest annual update of the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings released on Monday.

Although India continue to lead the rankings, their advantage at the top has narrowed. Team India dropped from 119 rating points to 118, while New Zealand gained two points to move from 111 to 113 rating points.

Reigning world champions Australia remained in third place with an unchanged rating of 109 points.

The only change within the top five saw South Africa move up to fourth place after improving their rating from 98 to 102 points. Pakistan slipped to fifth position after their rating dropped from 102 to 98.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka retained sixth place in the rankings despite their rating decreasing from 98 to 96 points during the annual update.
