Adverse Weather Forces SLC to Postpone Domestic Tournaments

Date:

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has postponed all domestic cricket tournaments organized by the board due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions across the country.

The decision was taken after assessing the current weather situation, which has affected several parts of Sri Lanka in recent days.

Accordingly, the Major Club T20 Tournament and Tier B Club T20 Tournament, which were scheduled to begin today, and the Governors Trophy, have all been postponed until further notice.

SLC stated that revised schedules for the tournaments will be announced in due course once conditions improve.

The postponement is expected to impact several domestic clubs and players who were preparing for the upcoming competitions.
