The 49th match of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament is scheduled to begin today (06) at 7 pm in Hyderabad, India.
It is between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings.
The match is scheduled to begin at 7.30 pm as a night match.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings won the 48th match of the tournament yesterday (05) between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets.
Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bat first.
Accordingly, Delhi Capitals managed to score 155 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
In scoring, Sameer Rizvi of Delhi Capitals managed to score 40 runs while batting unbeaten.
Tristan Stubbs scored 38 runs and Pathum Nissanka scored 19 runs.
In bowling, Noor Ahmad took two wickets for Chennai Super Kings.
Akeal Hosein, Mukesha Choudhary, Gurjapneet Singh and Jamie Overton took one wicket each.
Chasing a target of 156 runs to win, Chennai Super Kings managed to score 159 runs for the loss of only two wickets in 17.3 overs.
Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 87 runs while Kartik Sharma scored an unbeaten 41 runs.
Urvil Patel scored 17 runs.
In bowling, Axar Patel and Lungi Ngidi took one wicket each for Delhi Capitals.
